ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Feb. 23, 2021 – As pressure grows to remove from office several Democratic governors whose actions contradict their demands of their citizens, congressional candidate Eddy Aragon says his 2020 campaign to impeach New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was an early warning.

Aragon launched an ‘Impeach MLG’ campaign on May 15, 2020, and says that to date, the campaign has gathered more than 15,000 signatures.

“Michelle Lujan Grisham made it obvious early in her time in office that she thinks of herself as New Mexico political royalty, presiding queen-like over the little people of our state,” Aragon said.

Lujan Grisham spent $6,500 in taxpayer money on expensive steaks and alcohol while closing New Mexico bars and restaurants to the public. California Gov. Gavin Newsom dined out at an exclusive restaurant while mandating a COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo covered up the number of COVID-19 deaths in his state’s nursing homes while claiming to mount an exemplary response to the COVID-19 crisis. All three governors face calls for their removal from office.

“Our ‘impeach MLG’ campaign helped prevent Michelle Lujan Grisham from being tapped for President Biden’s cabinet,” Aragon said. “But across America, we are still plagued by far-left politicians who believe their rules are meant for other people.”

Aragon, popularly known as “The Rock of Talk,” is owner and host of Albuquerque radio station KIVA (ABQ.FM / 1600 AM / To date, he is the only Republican candidate registered with the Federal Election Commission to replace Deb Haaland in New Mexico’s first congressional district.
